Directed by Debs Paterson and Produced by Dan Cleland, this music video was created for NGO Girl Effect's work in Malawi. Launching new group Zathu with their debut single Zimatere, Zimatere, the project introduces the six characters in the band who have specially designed narratives to explore the specific themes and topics the NGO is working on; ensuring girls access to education, young motherhood and other important issues.
Girl Effect is a creative, social business determined to positively impact the lives of adolescent girls to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty in developing countries.
