Dan Cleland is a film producer who also works across commercials. Dan began his career in advertising and music videos, working with acclaimed commercials director Mehdi Norowzian and Ridley Scott Associates.  

In 2009 Dan produced short film WASHDAYS, directed by Simon Neal. The film won best narrative short at Rushes Soho Short Film Festival and was nominated for a BIFA. He also started his own production company Lions Den Films. 

He co-produced David Leon’s directorial debut ORTHODOX produced by Daisy Allsop. The micro-budget feature starring Stephen Graham and Michael Smiley and was released in early 2016.

He is also the producer of ‘PRIDE?’ the first feature documentary from Ashley Joiner that will have its world premiere at the BFI Flare Festival in March 2017.

‘SICK(ER)’ (written/directed by Lucy Brydon, produced by Dan Cleland/Lions Den Films) was commissioned by Film London with funding from the BFI and BBC Films. It will go into production in summer, 2017.
